Pot Luck

  Pot Luck Party* 에 초대 받은 오늘, 처음으로 Pot Luck Party 라는 문화를 체험하게 되니 어떤 시간이 될지 설레인다. 

*Pot Luck Party: 각자가 적당한 양의 음식을 준비해서 가져와 함께 나눠  뷔페식으로 먹는 파티

   나는 셀러드를 준비하기로 하고, Fresh St. Market 을 향했다. 

 '주변의 모든 환경이 영어 연습의 기회!!'   

  I asked a staff at the Fresh St. Market a salad for the party. She helped me very kindly. Also She checked 'How many people' and 'When is the party' and recommended me a 'potato salad' and 'salad with chicken breast'. 

 Hoon쌤 and 혜정쌤 invited Peter. He is a legendary music teacher in Canada. He won the prize in a competition of North America with his students. Also he and his students were invited from Carnegie hall to perform.

 It was honor that he shared his wisdom and experience to us. 
 But, I was disappointed to myself. Unfortunately I was not ready enough talking with him.   

“준비된 자는 즐길 수 있는 자리가, 그렇지 못한 자에게는 피하고 싶은 자리가 된다.” 라는 말을 명심하며, 남에게는 관대하지만 나 스스로에게는 좀 더 엄격해져야 함을 느끼는 하루였다.
